Overall - Safe 5

Brook End achieves a Five Gold rating. The property has two bedrooms. Parking on tarmac drive to the front of the house.

Cleanliness - High 5

House keeping to a very high level, this is consistent throughout. Attention to detail noted.

Public Areas - Safe 5

The paint work is maintained in very good order throughout the property. Floor tiling remains in excellent condition. Furnishings, fittings and furniture remain in excellent condition. The property has thermostatic radiator heating. Spot lighting provides excellent lighting levels.

Bedrooms - Safe 5

The bedrooms present well. Decor well maintained. Carpets remain in very good condition. Furniture is all of a very high quality. Beds are in excellent condition with bedding well presented, all of a high quality and condition is very good.

Bathrooms - Safe 5

Two bathrooms, both wall and floor tiling remain as seen last year. All in very good order. Ladder towel rail heating. Effective lighting levels. Sanitary ware is modern and in excellent condition. Plenty of space for guest comfort.

Kitchen - Safe 5

Tiling, both floor and wall remains in excellent condition. Modern well set out kitchen. The owners continue to provide an excellent range of appliances for the guests. Pans and kitchen ware is all in excellent condition. China, glassware and cutlery is all of a very good quality and condition.

Highlights

The owners take a pride in the presentation of the property, this continues to be of high standards. The guests have a private garden with patio for their own use. This year the owners have added a Bar-B-Q for the guests to use.

Summary 2014

Under the British Common Standard for Self Catering Brook End achieves a Five Star rating. Part of the Standard is that all critical areas of the property; cleanliness, living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen must each achieve a grade commensurate with the overall rating. Following this assessment the establishment meets these requirements, enabling the rating indicated above to be confirmed.

Modern property, every comfort and convenience that is provided has been well thought through. The property is within easy reach of all local amenities.

The property is very efficiently managed by the owners and presented to excellent levels of house keeping.
